Rupantarita Prakritik Gas Company Limited in 1229, Nikunja 2, Khilkhet

Alarming air pollution and significant rise of lead in the air content around Dhaka compelled the Government of Bangladesh to ascertain feasibility study smog through Petrobangla, of using natural gas in the form of CNG as an alternative fuel. The study was funded by World Bank. CNG being cheaper and ecofriendly justified. Its uses and RPGCL was entrusted to commercialize the use of CNG in Transport sector.
