Mr. Nirod Bihari Das, an educated person from Khagatka, of Westjuri Union Parishad, 3rd in Juri upazila, donated Tk 10,00,000 / - (one million) at one time. According to the rules, the organization is named as "Nirod Bihari High School". The school is set up on the grounds of 1.64 (one acre of thirty-one per annum) donated to 42 (forty-five) electrifying people. Chairman of the school, Mr. Ashad Uddin Batal (former Upazila Chairman), UP Chairman Haji Mohammad Moin Uddin, Chairman of UP Chairman Mr. Kamruddin, Mr. Srikant Das (former acting UP Chairman), Mr. Lalit Mohan Das, Mr. Sirajul Islam and Dr. Dekh Sukhman Das along with other local educated people, about establishing this school in haor area Keep an important contribution. In addition to this, the head teacher of the school, Mrs. Pranay Kumar Shil, Mr. AKM Saifuddin Ahmad, Mr. Moni Lal Das, Mr. Kanoz Kumar Das, Mr. Shamsuddin Ahmed and Mr. Sudarshan Das were the founding teachers. The school is recognized as a mid-level post 01/01/1989. Later, on 01/01/1991, Mr. Mohammad Saraf Uddin, Assistant Headmaster of Kanthaltoli High School, was appointed as Head Teacher. In 1993, the school was named M.P. as a lower secondary school. After obtaining recognition as a secondary school in 1995, 39 (forty-nine) students of the school received 74.36% of the results by taking part in the first ever secondary examination. The school is full of MPs as a complete secondary school in 1998. In the year 2000-2001 fiscal, the Facalitious Building was constructed with the help of Mr. Md. Shahab Uddin, Honorable MP of Moulvibazar-1 on 09 (nine) century land donated by Haji Moinuddin and Maulana Saifuddin. School building committee and Moulovibazar-1 Honorable MP (former State Minister) Advocate Ebadir Rahman Chowdhury with the help of Education Engineering Department built two-storied building of the school. In 2005 BRAC Gokkendra Library was established in the initiative of NGO organization BRAC and under the direct supervision committee of the managing committee and UP chairman (current Upazila Chairman) Alhaj MA Mumit Asuk. In 2010, a computer lab was set up in the secondary building of 05 (five) computers in the primary stage by the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC). By which teachers and students are getting information related to information technology. At present, the number of teachers of the school is 589 (five hundred ninety nine), the number of MP teachers and number of teachers (13) and number of teachers (05) are part time teachers. The post of teacher and approved computer teacher is vacant. This Vidyapith located in Haor area has made a very important contribution to education, culture and sports. The quality of the school's education, the passing rate and the number of female students are continuously increasing. Due to the establishment of computer lab, the National Information and Communication Technology Policy, 2009 will play a vital role in the formation of Digital Bangladesh by 2021 through successful implementations and objectives.
