There was a school named Kamalcharan Junior High School since 1872. In 1965 the sculpture was abolished. In 1985, the prominent economist, the father of the area Dr. Holikuzzaman Ahmed founded the school. The school established on 1.50 acres of land is located in five famous Durga Temples and Union Parishad Complex building adjacent. Land donor Md.
