Moumachi uses a small number of cookies to keep you signed in, protect our forms, remember your choices and understand how our website is used. We don’t use advertising cookies.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. They let the website remember things between pages and visits, such as that you are signed in. Cookies set by Moumachi are “first-party” cookies; cookies set by another company’s service on our pages, such as Google, are “third-party” cookies.
How Moumachi uses cookies
- Essential. Needed for Moumachi to work: signing in, staying signed in, and keeping forms secure. These can’t be switched off on our side.
- Security. Help us tell people from automated spam on forms such as sign-up and contact.
- Analytics. Show us, as totals, how many people visit and which pages they use, so we can improve Moumachi. They don’t tell us who you are.

Maps on listing pages are provided by Google Maps, and signing in with Google uses Google’s sign-in service. Google may set its own cookies when you use them; see how Google uses cookies.
Information saved on your device
Some choices are saved in your browser’s local storage instead of a cookie. It stays on your device and is not sent to us with every page:
- Your location for “Near by” searches, only if you allow it, and whether the Near by switch is on.
- Your recent searches, so you can repeat them quickly.
- Display choices, such as sections you have collapsed.
- Unsent drafts, such as a review you started writing, so you don’t lose them.
You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for Moumachi.
What we don’t use
Moumachi doesn’t use advertising cookies, doesn’t sell information collected by cookies, and doesn’t use social media tracking pixels.
Controlling cookies
Most browsers let you see, block and delete cookies in their settings. If you block essential cookies, you won’t be able to sign in, and some forms won’t work.
- Help for your browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
- To stop Google Analytics on all websites, use Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
Our mobile app
The Moumachi app doesn’t use browser cookies. It stores similar information on your phone, such as keeping you signed in and your app settings. The Privacy Policy explains what the app collects.
Changes to this policy
If we add or change cookies, we update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top.
